Cerbero is a mythical beast in Greek mythology. It is often depicted as a multi-headed dog guarding the gates of Hades. In some myths, Cancerbero has three heads, while in others it can have up to nine separate heads. The word "cancerbero" is additionally used to refer to a watchful and unyielding sentinel.
